Listen!

Well, lately I've been hearing about
a lot of deaths. Some were common people and some were from our film industry, Bollywood.

This year has been very mean to us. On one hand we're losing people around us and on the other hand, we lost so many people from the film industry as well.

These are the one's I knew through social media:
1) Rishi Kapoor
2) Irrfan Khan
3) Wajid Khan
4) Basu Chatterjee
5) Nimmi
6) Sushant Singh Rajput
7) Chiranjeevi Sarja
8) Jagdeep
9) Mohit Baghel
10) Saroj Khan

It was so saddening to hear such talented artists pass away. But what did ya'll do?
Posting their pictures on social media saying RIP. It would have been something like this...
1) You searched for a picture of that artist.
2) You searched for a picture where the artist was looking good.
3) You downloaded that picture.
4) Maybe you cropped it too.
5) You opened the Instagram app and uploaded that picture as your story with something written beside or below the picture.
Or maybe you uploaded a good picture from their social media profile itself.

But why?
Can't you just pray to God, wishing them a beautiful afterlife?
And do you know what the best part is? They became 'Legendary' and 'The Best Actor' overnight!
They struggled all their life to give you better performances but they weren't appreciated and now they became legends in one night.

Lemme talk about Sushant Singh Rajput now....

Ya'll are making his trailers and songs trend, great!
He should be appreciated for his works but where were you when Sonchiriya's trailer was released?

Is this some inside ritual that you social media cracked brains follow?
That a person will be given attention only after he passes away?
People are trending hashtags and now they're making tribute videos for him.
But honey where tf were you when all these actors were alive and their good films weren't working? Why didn't you watch those good films then?
Why do you want to watch a stupid premiere now?

I won't take any credit for this as I read this on social media...
"If Sushant Singh Rajput was alive, people would have said that his new movie is a remake and wouldn't watch it"
True! If he happened to be alive now, you guys would have trolled him and disliked the trailer for being a remake.

Look if you really wanna appreciate someone for their work, please do that NOW and stop posting their pictures after their demise. They don't have phones in heaven, they won't click the like button on your stupid sympathy post.
That person is craving for your love so let them have it while they're alive, don't wait for them to die so that you can sympathise then.
DO NOT PROMOTE HUMANITY BECAUSE THERE'S NO HUMANITY.
If there was, people wouldn't be doing this crap.
Besides, when other celebrities talked about their demise, ya'll said they're faking their emotions and later when they didn't ya'll still trolled them for not sympathising. Like what?
Get ahold of yourself man!
Recently there was a thing about nepotism too. Look, nepotism or not, an artist should be acknowledged if they did justice to their work.
And if you hate someone, just unfollow that person!!! DON'T PROMOTE IT man!
If you've read the whole thing, PLEASE DON'T REPEAT IT.

                                                            -Shriya.
